Sinema dünyasının en prestijli ödüllerinden BAFTA Ödülleri’nin kazananları açıklandı. Bu yıl 76.’sı düzenlenen törende Netflix’in Birinci Dünya Savaşı döneminde geçen “All Quiet on the Western Front” yapımı öne çıktı.

Müziğin efsane ismi Elvis Presley’i konu alan “Elvis” de BAFTA ödüllerine damgasını vuran yapımlardan oldu. Elvis, özellikle görselliğini oluşturan elementleriyle ödülleri toplamaya hak kazandı. 

Çekimleri Türkiye’de yapılan Aftersun’ın yönetmeninden deprem felaketi hakkında açıklama:

Aftersun’ın yönetmeni Charlotte Wells, ödül törenindeki konuşmasında Türkiye’de 40 binin üzerinde vatandaşın hayatını kaybetmesine yol açan depreme değindi. Charlotte, “Türk ekibimize özel bir teşekkür. Ülkede depremden etkilenmemiş biri olacağını sanmıyorum.” ifadelerini kullandı.
